At certain points in life you will be presented with challenges that temporally overwhelm your ability to cope. Anxiety, depression, post-traumatic distress and other emotional and interpersonal problems are common responses to being overwhelmed.
My role is to help people rediscover courage, resilience and a way through their particular challenges in living. I work primarily from an existential, relational, somatic (mind/body), and compassion-focused approach.
I’ve found that an equal measure of courage and compassion are key to this work. Compassion towards ourselves builds resilience and courage empowers us to face life’s most difficult challenges in meaningful ways. To engage in therapy is already a courageous and self-compassionate action. I am privileged to step into that meaningful work with you.
